2020 Ford Transit Passenger VanAre you looking for a large, but comfortable van for work or your growing family? Meet the 2020 Ford Transit passenger van. It is ready to take you on your next group outing at work or on your next extended family vacation.

Something for Everyone

Your new van has room for up to 15 people to stretch out and relax. The seats are designed like a small bus in the middle three rows. There are two bucket seats on the left and one on the right. There is a small aisle between them. Use it to pass items throughout the van with ease once you are on the road. The front row has two bucket seats. While the back row has one long seat. If you do not need all of the seats, the back row is an excellent place to let someone stretch out and sleep safely.

Make getting in and out easier with the addition of the available power sliding door. There is also a handle located above the door for anyone who needs some assistance getting in and out of the vehicle. Every row includes its own USB ports so your passengers can keep their devices charged on the road.

The steering wheel gives you easy access to your media, messages, and climate controls without taking your eyes off the road. There is even a cup holder on the left side, so you don’t have to look down to get your drink.

Room for Everything

As you consider what you need in your new 2020 Ford Transit Passenger Van, determine how many seats you need and how long you want your van. The Transit has three different roof heights and lengths available, so you have plenty of space to keep everyone comfortable and bring anything you need for your trip. The regular length van with a low roof gives you up to 224.5 cubic feet of cargo space, depending on your seating arrangement. The regular van with a medium roof increases this a maximum of 292.7 cubic feet.

If you choose the Long-EL van with all five rows of seats included, you’ll have 100.5 cubic feet of space. If you lower the back seat, it increases to 184 cubic feet of space. The maximum volume in this trim is 414.1 cubic feet of space, with all four back rows lowered.

Customize to Suit You

There are several different ways to customize your van to your specific needs. If you need space for someone with a wheelchair and their caregiver, Ford Mobility works with you. Among the options available, the mobility group can install hand controls, including a set that leaves the traditional controls in place so anyone can drive the vehicle. They can also install a ramp that opens through the back door for easy and safe access into the vehicle.
