2020 Ford Fusion
The Ford Fusion is a sleek looking sedan that offers a sporty driving experience. The 2020 model has just a few changes, including the addition of FordPass Connect as a standard feature on all models. The Titanium model gets a 6-way power-adjustable passenger seat for 2020, and Ford removed the V-6 Sport trim from the lineup. Here are some more details for the 2020 Ford Fusion.
Trim Levels
The entry-level Fusion is the S. It has 16-inch steel wheels, LED taillights, and automatic halogen headlights. The SE adds 17-inch alloy wheels, and the SEL comes with 18-inch alloy wheels along with heated exterior side door mirrors with integrated turn signals. The Titanium adds 19-inch alloy wheels, and it comes with dual exhaust tips and fog lights. This top-level trim also has a power moonroof.
Engine
A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the Fusion S. It generates 175 horsepower and works with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Both the SE and the SEL have a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that makes 181 horsepower, and the Titanium gets a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder with 245 horsepower. The high-end Titanium also gets shift paddles for an even sportier driving experience. Every Fusion comes with front-wheel drive, and every trim except the SEL offers the option for all-wheel drive.
Performance
You can't beat the sporty driving experience you get in the Fusion. It has a responsive steering system and strong brakes to give the driver confidence over any road, and this agile sedan easily handles the twists and turns of back roads. The 1.5-liter turbo-four is the most fuel-efficient engine in the lineup and will get 23 mpg city and up to 34 miles per gallon highway.
Interior
The Fusion has room for up to five passengers. The cabin feels spacious and has plenty of room for adults in both rows. The base has a height-adjustable driver's seat and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. Moving up through the trims adds features such as a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, and leather upholstery. Jump up to the Titanium, and you'll get a heated steering wheel, driver's seat memory settings, and ambient lighting for the cabin.
Technology starts with Bluetooth, the SYNC infotainment system, voice commands, and both a USB port and auxiliary jack. The SE adds an 8-inch color touch screen and the option for the SYNC 3 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also adds the option for a navigation system. For an upgraded 12-speaker stereo, bump up to the Titanium.
Safety Features
All of the Fusion models come standard with a rearview camera and Ford's MyKey parental controls. Every model also has Co-Pilot360, which includes a pre-collision system with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, pedestrian detection, and a lane-keeping assist system. Ford also offers the option for adaptive cruise control depending on the trim level. The SE adds rear park assist, and stepping up to the Titanium makes this and the adaptive cruise control standard as part of the Co-Pilot360 Assist group.
